Ashish Agrawal is the Head of New Initiatives at Matterport. He is driving Matterport’s VR strategy for scalable VR content creation, consumption, and distribution. Additionally, he is leading the application of Machine Learning techniques for improving understanding of real-world spaces.
Most recently before Matterport, Ashish was the founder of an Internet startup in India in the temporary housing domain. Prior to that, he led programs at Google for investing tens of millions of dollars annually in academic computer science research projects. Additionally, he managed the partnerships & operations teams for Google AdSense. In a past life, Ashish also worked as a bioinformatics researcher at Los Alamos National Lab.
