Ed was an international entrepreneur from 1988 until 2011. Most of his work was in electronic entertainment, working on more than 50 titles. He has since become an intellectual property attorney for one of the top international law firms, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP, specializing in IP litigation. Most recently, he successfully defended a Canadian video game company from infringement by an American firm. He has also worked for IBM, Oracle, Fujifilm, Cessna and a host of other major IP owners. Last year, Ed moderated the intellectual property panel for SVVR. In addition to his work in video games, Ed has run a publishing company in Los Angeles, handled Apple’s sales in the former Soviet Union, run an international translation agency and formed an English teaching school in Taiwan.
