Steve Holtzman

Steve founded MATTERvr with Dan Gregoire in 2015 because they saw the power VR has to emotionally connect with people. The team went on to develop
FIRST, the Smithsonian-curated, AMD-sponsored virtual experience of the Wright Brothers first flight, which Steve wrote and produced. At MATTERvr, Steve is currently producing multiple immersive VR learning apps covering history, math and science due for release in 2017. With over 20 years of production experience, he has overseen the creation of over 600 hours of television and feature films for audiences in over 180 countries. Prior to co-founding MATTERvr he produced the Emmy-winning Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey for which he won a Peabody Award, the Producer’s Guild Award for Outstanding Producer of Non-Fiction Television and a TCA Award. Steve has traveled the world overseeing production teams from 5 to 1,200 and has worked on feature films and TV for Disney, Fox, ABC, CBS, SYFY, Discovery, History, and National Geographic Channels.
